Notice how the French column's upper quartile appears much higher than other languages. This is due to the low number of data points of French books, combined with one of the data points having sold 200 million copies.
It is important to note that while the English column may be incredibly accurate, not many other columns are, due to only having a few data points.
Something that could alleviate this discrepancy would to be gather a certain number of data points for each language. However, this would have the side effect of making it seem as though a higher proportion of the bestselling books of all time were languages other than English.
